This technology review aims at listing the standards and tools at stake for managing catalogue (ie metadata) for the following type of items:

Sources of information used

The standards considered are provided in the scope of W3C, ISO and OGC and RDA working groups (e.g. metadata) as well as domain specific standards (cerif, geoscienceml, ...).

The tools are open-source or not. They might be desktop or server side (with web interface) software.
